While there is plenty of media out there about how people like us — the empaths of the world — need protection against energetic vampires, I have a different perspective that I would love for you to consider.

How do you get to be yourself around your family members without burning the house down? 

The days of righteous and justified feminism are over. We get nowhere so long as we blame men for our misfortunes, or worse, give up on them entirely.

Sexual assault is a thing. Even when we try to not make it a thing, try to make it disappear, try to pretend it doesn't exist. And it happens to more people than we think. And to all genders.

For every woman that we label self-serving and unworthy of connection because she's in her full expression of her desire, we further embed that story about ourself.

No one can make you feel small, defeated, or diminish you or your desire. Only you can do that to you.
